CHASSEUR
ENAMELED CAST IRON
When we made the decision to add fine cookware to
our already outstanding collection of cutlery, our
path was clear. If we hold true to  one abiding truth,
we could not go wrong;
"There is no substitute for quality products and service".
The first market source we turned to for our cookware
was, of course, France, the gastronomic center
of the Earth.  Nearly all of our new products
are of commercial quality, most only available previously
to professional chefs
. What may seem like "overkill" to some,
will actually assure you of years of use and service.

Our Chasseur enamel cast-iron pans and cast-iron grills
have stood the test of time. The fusion of enamel, or melted
glass powder, with the cast-iron creates a strong seal that
prevents corrosion. The cast-iron line is ideal  for slow
braising and simmering
due to its ability to retain heat evenly.
Chasseur cookware is cast thicker than other cast iron. This
allows you to cook without worrying about hot spots or sticking
food. Your cookware heats evenly and, because of
its extra mass, holds the heat better.
*
ADVICE:
Cast-iron cookware is very fuel-efficient because it
retains heat well. When cooking you can reduce the heat
and even turn it off for a few minutes and it will continue to cook.
*
PRECAUTIONS:
Before using, wash your cast iron thoroughly
in hot soapy water. Pre-heat cooking oil in frying pans on a
moderate setting before adding food. Allow food to seal before
reducing heat and then turn or stir to avoid sticking.
Excessive heat causes food to stick. The cast iron grills
should be seasoned before using.
*
CARE:
After usage, all items must be cleaned with hot
water and soap using a brush or pad. Allow burned food to
soak in hot water for a while to facilitate easy removal. Do
not use abrasive cleaning materials as this will damage the high
gloss enamel. Cast-iron pans may break or chip if  mishandled.
All items without wooden handles are dishwasher safe.
*
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
   Each piece from our "Chasseur"
cookware line has been individually sand cast, then enameled
twice
. First, there is the black enamel, which you can see on
the rims or base. This seals all the edges, protects against
corrosion and is a primer for the color coat. The final layer
adds unmatched durability and the vibrant color for which
this cookware is famous. An additional benefit is
the ease of cleaning!
*
AUTHENTICITY:
Being strong, reliable and made to
our unrelenting high standards, "Chasseur" cookware
will last a lifetime if looked after properly. To emphasize this
quality, each item in the line comes with a 10-year warranty.
*
HEAT SOURCES:
  The "Chasseur" cookware is suitable
with all types of heat sources including induction. All
our lid knobs are heat resistant up to 400 degrees F.
