FALL BEACH COOKING BOOT CAMP!   

 Mardi and Bob are planning another road trip
(known as
Cocina del Mar)  lasting five days
in Sonora, Mexico. This trip is planned for OCTOBER 4, 2007
We will travel to one of our favorite Mexican beach/fishing
villages and stay in a wonderful beachfront hotel.
Each room in this hotel has a beautiful view facing the
ocean. We will offer a number of cooking classes
where you may participate of just watch.
(all will be on or near the beach) We also will take a day
shopping in Hermosillo, the capital of Sonora.
This will include a visit to the old
Central Market downtown and several
other very interesting stores.

Bahia de Kino, Sonora, Mexico

Oct 4 our intrepid group leaves for the beach in Mexico for
5 days of cooking classes on the beach featuring fresh caught seafood.
We will take a day trip to Hermosillo and visit the traditional Central
Market there. We also will visit the historic and beautiful cathedral
and The Governor's Palace. We will have lunch of fish, shrimp,
clams or oysters at an open air restaurant on the estuary. The
shellfish is harvested from cages no more than 20 or 30 feet
offshore and shucked for us while we watch!
Our first adventure last October was a huge success and
everyone had a wonderful time! Sign up now!
