Quick Tomato Sauce |

1 large can diced
tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon olive oil½ chopped onion
¼ cup red wine
2 cloves garlic, minced
Pinch of salt

|
Sautè the onions in the olive oil, until
translucent, add the garlic and sauté for
30 seconds more. Add the diced tomatoes, basil, and
pinch of salt.
Bring to a boil, add the red wine, then lower heat
and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
